As we celebrate the 2 years of our
Catchyoo blog, as we take new promising directions at LM3LABS, we hire
new people, we prepare new amazing products, it was time to re-align
our blogging strategy too.
The new blog is designed to reflect the innovation spirit carried by
LM3LABS for the last 5 years. The LM3LABS blog is more product neutral,
covering all products while leaving room to the future products and
corporate and business news.
Simpler, wider, it leaves space to video in hi-quality and to better graphics.
Visitors have direct access to the products, solutions or corporate
sites with visible buttons. They can also easily contact LM3LABS thru a
form which integrates into LM3LABS business flow.
RSS subscribtion has never been so easy. Please subscribe to stay tunes!
Also please change your bookmarks as the Catchyoo blog will dissapear on August 8th and no more posting will be made on it.
AirStrike was on air on last June 8 on Nitele (the nickname for Nihon Telebi, the Japanese TV, one of the 2 main national channels in Japan).
Guest stars could experience the free air interactivity of AirStrike. Despite what you might thing this is a prime time science program. Yes I know, Japan is an other planet...
For those who missed this great piece of TV and those who are abroad, here is a recall.
This is a second example of content made from Catchyoo's Sprites new FX.
A notebook is open, a kid has written words on it, objects are around: a candy, cards, paint. All of them are interactive: the cards start animating, the candy sparkles, the paint leaks...
On the Notebook, words are made interactive. touch the word house and the house appears in 3D, touch the word balloon and it jumps. The castle drawing morph into the word "castle". All words are made interactive.
Beyond the educative purpose, it shows how the Sprites FX can let users create their own campaigns with maximum flexibility, using various elements like 3D objects, movies, words, sounds, special effects...
Here again, not a single line of Flash, not a single line of code...
Catchyoo is enhanced today with a new FX: SPRITES.
SPRITES lets Catchyoo partners and clients use multiple animations on
the same preset, position them accurately, dynamically change their
size and speed.
The below example shows a map of Japan where clouds are animated.
Each region is identified by its names written with clouds, slightly moving.
When triggered, the clouds morph into an other shape and a quick footage plays.
A cloud overcast comes when the system is not used.
It lets partners create various 3D animations.
This requires no Flash, not a single line of code. It can be applied to
all purposed: product presentations, education, advertising,
interactive design on floors, walls, tables, mock-up, etc...
This is an other example of AirStrike made in collaboration with Barco Japan.
The idea is to demo free-air interactivity to museum, public venues, virtual reality user (i.e. car makers, real estate developers) and event organizers.
AirStrike lets users instantly interact with the projected content.
Barco supplied a marvelous 18.000 Lumens projector.
On this second movie we used paintings from artist Momoko Sudo (www.momokosudo.com) to show how discovering art can be simple and pleasant.
